Carmel is probably one of the most unique and beautiful cities/towns I’ve been to, especially due to its diverse architecture, and the fact that many of the homes are built like fairy-tale like cottages. Seeing these small cottages was inspirational from an architectural standpoint, as I could see myself one day undertaking a project to build such a home. Of course the many shops, restaurants, and beach were a plus as well. And to top off the experience, there are many nice specimens of various trees and plants in the area, as the climate allows for just about anything to grow in this region. These photos were taken in September 2022.
Not pictured, but worth mentioning is the annual Carmel Bach Festival. I had the privilege of attending many of the concerts during the festival, and I was thankful for the rare treat of hearing so many baroque-era and other classical performances in such a short period of time.
