Woodworks Portfolio
I like to get creative when it comes to woodworking projects, and in the case of woodworking, it is the wood I find and their beautiful shapes that drive and determine the end result. I don’t like to create woodworks that simply strive to meet certain dimensions for this reason, though sometimes a little modification is necessary. If a beautiful slab is found, for example, no large part of it should be wasted just to meet certain size requirements, but rather a smaller starting piece of wood should be used for a smaller project.
In the case of certain carpentry projects, such as installing bookshelves, other shelving, built-in desks or tables, it is the space and the smartest and most aesthetic use of that space that should determine how the wood should be used. My goal is also to reduce waste as much as possible, and to ultimately bring out the greatest beauty in both the materials and the space.
