San Antonio

San Antonio was a really unique and awesome city to visit. I’d never seen a city built around a river in this way before in the United States. The San Antonio River and the San Antonio Riverwalk winds for miles through the heart of downtown and offers much to see and do, and right next door to downtown is the historic Alamo. There were many large Bald Cypresses (Taxodium distichum) that overlooked the path, and canal boats that took passengers up and down the river, offering guided tours or a simple opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the heart of San Antonio.
