I have found multiple specimens of very large Deodar Cedars all over America, so I was surprised when I found out they originally come from the Himalayas region. Many large, old specimens can be found in the Southern U.S. where I have lived for years, which is where these photos were taken. I plan to photograph other Deodars in the Augusta region, but the below photos are from a large specimen in Hopelands Gardens in Aiken, South Carolina.
